Canadian Concept – Egyptian Roots
Chapter 10 - Never enough time
Writing thoughts in our phones on the go, taking hundreds of photos, and reading about the best ways available to do every aspect of the business became our default setting.
We were fully obsessed with our dream, which took most of our time. A lot of things were going on simultaneously; our kids in school needed our attention, care and time. Soon things became more stressful, and initial fun energy slowly dissipated.
To give our children quality time, we started to cut our online socializing drastically and hire paid services when possible, these were among the solutions we employed to our busy lives.
Sadly, we still needed more time to ourselves. During the heat of this moment we realized focus is not easy!
We learned -the words of John Ivy- that
"if focus isn't hurting, you are probably not focusing enough"
Thankfully, we keep an open communication, and we soon breach the gap in understanding. We figured we make a great team working together. Of course, we love our part of the tasks and are equally passionate about it. To avoid these issues, we decided to do things at our pace and set deadlines that work for us.
We kicked off with the shopping pop-up concept. At this point, we chose flexibility again.
Selling, packaging and shipping seasonally will take off a lot of the pressure, and we chose this method instead.
