Although ancient Egyptians had a good knowledge of the stars and the constellations; the famous ancient Egyptian symbol for the stars known as “Seba” was actually made of five equidistant rounder end spokes and a centre that is marked by two concentric rings, resembles the Egyptian starfish -sometimes called the Egyptian sea star- that inhabited the Red Sea.
