The KV designation refers to the Valley of the Kings, while 62 identifies Tutankhamun’s tomb in the modern numbering of the valley’s tombs. On 4 November 1922, Howard Carter and the Egyptian excavation workers uncovered the entrance to what would become known as KV62. On 16 February 1923, the sealed doorway to the burial chamber was opened.

Tutankhamun was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty, whose tomb became one of the most famous archaeological discoveries in history, with the discovery of its iconic golden funerary mask further cementing its place as one of the most recognisable symbols of ancient Egypt.

The KV62 – Mystery Fleece turns that history into a clean, coded design, with the Tutankhamun reference subtly integrated into the first line. The chest design is printed in white, with the KV62 detail incorporating the hood colour for a subtle connection to the garment. A medium-small three-pyramids/MASR logo finishes the back.
