Chapter 6 - The Canadian Dream

Dreams are not built on logic; they are built on passion! If you can make a job out of it, why not?

After lots of thought, we decided to start a fashion and handmade accessories brand, hopeful that our dreams come through.

Immediately we got to work, did researches, and made inquiries about registering the business. 

An Egyptian Cotton T-Shirt brand with matching handmade accessories was our first choice.

Jan 21st, 2020 is remarkable in our story;

We successfully registered “MADE IN EGYPT .CA” as a Canadian Business.

This was the start of an Egyptian product exclusively available in Canada only.

Starting this business meant more open doors, answered prayers, and there’s also the shady part of endless questions. We couldn't just wait on these doors; we rushed to open each without even knocking. I mean, why shouldn’t we!

We immediately started to write thoughts and ideas, questions and resources, plans and to-do lists, articles to read, and settling all under-ground arrangements.

And when we started to look for our first team, we didn't have to look far, as we had already been discussing our dream with our close friends. It didn’t take long to find a team of family and true friends who not only run our operations in Egypt but keep offering support and encouragement to live up to our full potential. Our team are also new friends and neighbours in Canada, who recognize themselves in us just as we recognize ourselves in them. And we are working 'all together' to make this dream come true.

The best part of the business we're building is a Canadian dream but Egyptian-themed. This adds more diversity to our new home country.
