Chapter 7 - Egyptian Ville
There’s a popular saying amongst Egyptians, it goes thus; "If I weren't an Egyptian, I would have wished to be an Egyptian." Mustafa Kamil first made this statement, an Egyptian lawyer, journalist, and nationalist activist (1874 -1908).
Egypt “the mother of the world” as it called by its Middle Eastern neighbours and Egyptians themselves, has a warm hearted people just like its general climate. Egyptians are very friendly people, they love sharing their culture. No matter where Egyptians move to; they will still be longing for gathering, cooking their own cuisine, celebrating their national holidays and listening to their music.
Canadians on the other hand are one of the nicest people on earth! We have seen that ourselves. Not to mention how open Canada is to multiculturalism.
And this is how we conceived our Canadian dream, to show Canada a little piece of Egypt, where the smell of fresh Egyptian bread is in the air, and the authentic Egyptian vibes are everywhere around. Where we can walk you through, arranging for Egyptian-themed events, offering Egyptian-made products, serving Egyptian food and telling you a lot of Egyptian stories!
Are you up to visit a great three pyramids in Canada?
Would you give us a hand to build an Egyptian Ville that makes you experience Egypt without having to cross the borders? Does that sound brilliant for everyone, or it's just us? That's something we are about to know!
