Egyptian Cotton Care Instructions
Egyptian cotton doesn't peel, and it doesn't cause dust allergies, but does require gentle cleaning.
When caring for Egyptian cotton, it’s best to avoid using detergents that contain bleach. Bleach can break down the natural fibres of your Egyptian cotton fabrics, causing them to quickly wear out.
Use a gentle detergent, cold water, and a low drying temperature to ensure your Egyptian cotton fabric last for a really long time!
All-natural fibres shrink when washed, including Egyptian cotton. By choosing a fairly low water temperature for the cycle, you should prevent the fibres from shrinking. A gentle 40-degree wash cycle is your best option.
Egyptian cotton gets even better with time and wash!
It’s best not to use a fabric softener because it can build up and damage the fibres. Although not ideal, you can tumble dry if you use a low heat setting.
While laundry day isn't typically something most people look forward to; sorting laundry is an activity that keeps the hands busy, while leaving the brain free to think!
It could be also an opportunity to donate an unused shirt or a pair of pants. Donating clothes helps those in need and can help reduce waste.
